Members of our team Mitja Velikonja, Professor for Cultural Studies and head of the Center for Cultural and Religious Studies at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia & Vjeran Pavlaković, Professor of History and Cultural Studies at University of Rijeka, Croatia are part of a new Croatian-Slovenian research project Mnemonic Aesthetics and Strategies in Popular Culture: Murals, Film, and Popular Music as Memory Work (MEMPOP), in which researching mnemonic murals and political graffiti play an important role.
